What is Michi Tribu Perú?
Who i am?
My name is Bettina – also called Betty – from ARTistic YOUniverse.
Since my earliest memories I felt myself lovely surrounded by nature.
I’ve always been grateful for the animals that lived with us in our big house (build from my parents and family members with their own hands) in a small village in the Bavarian countryside.
So as a little kid I enjoyed spending time and learn how to take care for my rabbits, guinea pigs, cats & dogs.
Because of our wonderful (& full of wonder) big yard with its trees which had been planted as tiny trees by my parents, for sure there has been a big range of other animals I made friendship with.
And also all the animals who lived with my grandparents on their little farm. This connection was deeply touching my heart & soul.
And hey, one of the trees in out garden was planted by myself. Just a single Walnut in my little hands – but full of faith and pride – I planted this seed with all my Love. After a while it became a little tree. Then a thunderbolt crashed into the young tree and splitted the branches and parts of its tree trunk. But still it never stopped growing because of its deep roots of LOVE, my mother told me later on…
Now – after 27 years – it has become a beautiful and fruitful tree.
Also my father prepared me a little space in our vegetable patch that I could learn how to seed, take care and harvest the pure presents of mother nature.
All in all I can say that I am very happy and grateful about the fact that I grew up in a small village. BECAUSE THE INFLUENCE OF LIVING WITH FLORA & FAUNA DURING MY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT OBVIOUSLY HAD A DEEP IMPACT ON ME.
And this deep impact still guides me through my daily life.
Even this was for nearly 5 years the „big City Jungle“ of Lima, the Capitol of Perú, Southamerica (I did some camping and spiritual trekking with some of the cats –> see gallery).
Far away from all the beautiful landscapes shaped in my soul, I was really spending most of my time sharing ceremonies and deep connection with the cats on the rooftop***
And this has had such a deep impact to me, that I renewed my connection and started to visualize to really living with them in nature – on a huuuge & beautiful land here in the magical Perú…..
And now very soon it will be real – so keep in touch …
*** The fact that I should take care of Peruvian animals was communicated to me by a shamanic-out-of-body / astral experience I’ve made. This was at the beginning of my Self-Healing-Life-Changing-Journey in 2015 when I lived in the Sacred Valley of Cusco.

HOW IT BECOMES THE TRIBE ?
Tarzan was travelling and hiking with me for some time (#see photos & videos „Spiritual Trekking with my cat“)…
As she grow up, Tarzan starts to get interested in her… Short time later both became a couple. You could see them fighting and cuddling so heartful together.
And then I realized that her belly was increasing rapidly so that it was obvious that she was pregnant! – What an emotion ..
After all the crazy actions of being pregnant (jumping into the fridge and freezer to refresh and camping with me (#see more photos /videos).
There was the day when she was more crazy than ever. So it was time to birth! – It was my first time to be part of this magical happening
– new life´s birth! (#see full story)
There was a another pregnan cat living in the entrance of the house. After she has given birth I brought her and the babies up to the roopftop.
I separated a corner for them and observed whats happening. MONA stayed a few days and then she disappeared and never came back.
As the babies startet to cry (for milk and protection) TARZAN took attention and communicated to CHINA that there is something going on wrong…. Immediatly CHINA jumped into their area and sniffed everyone of them. As her instinct told her what’s going on, she layed down and let them drink from her milk.
So, now, with her 8 teats she was lactating 9 babies ! Strong & proud mother cat !
for some reason I don’t know , one of them – TRININTY – disappeared a few weeks later….
And as she loved her “job” really, short time later, China become mother again, which shocked a bit because Tarzan was sterilized (I wanted that he could be at least one time father).
I discovered that she meets up with the cat downstairs. And finally when the 5 babies have been born (and I also supported their processes) I realized that SQUANCHI is the father – their colour and shape, face and behaviour have been speaking their own language 😊
Squanchi is one of the cats who lived in the same house, but on another floor where they have been abondand, I brought them up – mother TORMENTA.
…with her daughter Tifa and son Squanchi – and the daughter Mystica.
So they have been 4 cats more – now 20.
… as the babies have been reached the mark of “adults” and bum another pregnant mother: CHISPA…
…the daughter of China has been pregnant – she gave birth to 6 babies (which I also accompanied – see video).
Unluckily I did not knew that these babies have had an infection and so 5 of them died the next days. I buried them and focused on the one who survived: ZION
He has also a lot of problems in the beginning, but he recupied and is strong like his grandpa Tarzan now.
Also because of having an friend MILO…
…who comes to the tribe from the street, ZION was getting better and better. They have been 22 then.
Next, Chispa got pregnant for another time. This time with just one baby. This was kind of strange and same way logical for me.
Nature knows what to do……
So I accompanied this kitten also to come to life. Even this life should be very short. +ALLQU+
Allqu has had also these type of infection and I have been fighting for his life for some weeks. Also playing and kuddling and enjoying his fresh and crazy energy running around, for sure… But finally he died in new year’s morning …
He left a big hole in the tribe. Especially for Mystica, who played with him like best friends ever…. We miss you …
So, at this point there have been 22 cats in “Casa Michi Tribu”.
This is the name of the facebook page I created to collect donations for their food and the veterinarian costs.
As my life in Lima has been kind of complicated – reaching all I need just by donations makes me stronger yes, and also has it’s failes – when the tribe needs more money for the vet for example…..
So, It happens that ROJELIO…
…one of the first babies gots infected by the feline leukemia – and I did not know that these illness exists ! With all it’s side effects I have treated for long time…..finally he died a few weeks ago in my arms.
This was another heavy moment full of emotions and lession.
Thank you +ROJELIO+ for all these loving moments. All the fun and richness in sharing peanutbutter craziness. THANK you.
I miss you…….
I also miss HAMPIRI + …who died a few months ago by being unhappy living all this time on the rooftop (instead of living in mother nature).
Finally he was suffering of urine stones and the lack of function of his kidneys. At least he did not wake up from the anesthesia from the catheter treatment.
Both HAMPIRI+ and ROJELIO+ I have been taken in the green grass of a park at their last moments…
so that they could connect them (their spirits) with mother nature.

As you can imagine, now I have tears in my eyes, recording to all. But, I am also facilitated to have done this work finally – after such a long time…. Right in the moment…..because:

Why I do it?
I do this because I fully BELIEVE in the magical healing power of cats as themselves and them as friends who share the experience of living freely together with us like a sensible (interspecies community) present.
And this gift I wanna consciously share with other people like YOU – because Sharing is Caring !
What is my mission?
My mission is to live and share the PASSION to ENJOY the HEALING, FUNNY, RESPONSIBLE, TEACHING & LEARNING way of living with the cats like in a tribe.
I appreciate to share space & time between us on this wonderful planet earth – mother to all of us – and respectfully learn from these ancient beings without speaking the same „language“ – the deeper meaning of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE !
Like Henry David Thoreau once have said:
“The language of friendship is not words but meanings.”
What do i want?
I want to build a SELF HEALING CONNECTION CENTER surrounded by PERÚVIAN PERMACULTURE…
…like a SANCTUARY for CATS (and maybe other animals) in combination with SELF-HEALING RETREATS based on ART and NATURE’s GIFTS. Within this I also want to share and “teach” the importance of CATS in our life as a human being.
So, I want to invite YOU to explore, learn, heal and celebrate with us – to get the feeling by your own WHAT’s MY PASSION.
For more than 4 years we have been living together on our rooftop on the 5th floor in Lima City.
All cats have grown up to their adult size and so it’s time TO MOVE. Even 100m² terrace (and an additional ground like a 6th floor with their litter boxes) have been a big area to run, play, climb, relax & explore together (let’s say to make „the first steps“), their needs have grown up with them and outgrew this place – away from the noises and air pollution of big Lima City.
They require now „their real life“:
- climbing trees
- hunting for (part of) their food
- roaming freely in nature
- get into their „natural work“ as HEALERS & FRIENDS for more humans and other animals
Due to the difficult circumstances in Lima City, 4 of the cats have already died (feline leukemia) and others are still not well. Recently we got some donation of COLLOIDAL SILVER and the cats receive their healing support this way now. So the most important thing is, to get them (and me too) back into the joy and healing of Nature in a safety place.
“A SAFETY PLACE” ! That is one of the challenges I face. The last year I was moving to the landscape city Oxapampa to scout for a land for us. But this did not work out as I was expecting. The most of the free areas are used by ordinary agriculture. This means that the farmers work with all kinds of prohibited and “official” poisons. And they are putting also poison baits “for” dogs and all animals here.
I think this is one of the reasons why Universe don’t want me to settle here….
Now I am looking forward to scout for a land close to the JUNGLE and combine the need of the cats with my dream. I also want to connect some animal organisations to support us to PROTECT the CATS.
